Top job titles are project manager and business analyst. Programming jobs are among the jobs in decline. The IT Security sector is stable and set for growth. It remains steady because data breaches have become more common and the demand for protection rises.

Because IT companies depend on the demand for their services, they are likely to experience a downturn as corporations scale back on their budgets in the recession. However the industry is changing rapidly with the advancements of technology and companies will continue to invest in new technology. In the short term we will continue to see offshore outsourcing trends such as enhanced nearshoring, reliance on smaller deals, focus on the importance of professional expertise, enhanced social responsibility, and tougher competition among vendors. In the longer term, the industry will see more initiatives focused on notebook development, cloud computing and green IT trends.
