I currently work full time but have found that I am very unhappy at my current workplace (zero job security). I was laid of in July of 2012 but found work and moved across the country in december of 2012. Currenlty working but actively applying to find a better opportunity, problem is I have been told by recruiters that my resume looks like Im a job jumper. Is there any way around this? I didn't make it in the job interview 2 years ago for this particular team. Now there's an opening again. I called the hiring manager who interviewed me 2 years to see if she would give me a second chance this time. She said no. A month later, the job is still open and I found out that my head-of has a good relationship with my head-of. Someone junior in that team, whom I am acquainted wit more... Someone junior in that team, whom I am acquainted with, encourages me to go for the role and get my head-of's support. Should I...? Despite the rejection from the hiring manager? Im considering the risks if I didn't make the cut again, it puts a burden on my head-of's reputation. Third time rejection can be extremely embarrassing and that is the demise of my career with the company.... The job market is huge out there. Why would I put myself at such a high risk, where I will be scrutinised heavily on my performance with this team if I eventually get the job and I will need to prove myself worthy of the role.
