I recently started an internship. A few of the younger folks that I work for invited me out after work. We went to a local bar where they started ordering beers, mixed drinks and even a few shots.
The problem is, I am only 20 years old AND I don't drink much at all. I don't want to break the law and more importantly, I don't want to get drunk!
I've already told them I don't drink but they keep telling me "It's OK" to have a couple of cocktails. This is not the first time the group has gone out for drinks. This is a regular occurrence. I don't want to seem like the total nerd and risk not getting an offer at the end of my internship. To make matters worse, there is another intern who is my age that regularly drinks with them.
What should I do?
