Gotta Mentor is a web-based career mentoring and guidance platform committed to
helping you realize your career objectives. We want to help you access the personalized
advice that can make a meaningful difference in your professional success. The data
you disclose to us helps make it possible to deliver the best advice to you. Since
we collect certain types of information about our users, we want you to understand
the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information.
1. What information is collected by Gotta Mentor:
Registration
In order to become a Gotta Mentor user, you must first create an account on the
Site. Registration is necessary to contribute content and use the services offered
by our Site. When you register to become a member of Gotta Mentor we require you
to provide the following contact information: first and last name, e-mail address,
work status, school affiliation, and a password chosen by you. You can view information
you submitted during the registration process and update such information or provide
additional information if desired.
Questionnaires and Profiles
If you choose to opt-in to Gotta Mentor’s on-line mentor matching application, Gotta
Mentor collects a wide variety of information which is used in order to find mentor/mentee
matches which offer the highest possible chance of a successful long-term mentor/mentee
relationship.
Profile Information
Many of the ways that you interact with the Site allow us to learn more about you.
We collect information that can be categorized as Private or Public when you become
a member of Gotta Mentor.
Private Information. Private information includes your self-created password,
Competitiveness Evaluation scores, credit card information, and any information
you create or exchange with someone and designate as private. We give you controls
to enable you to designate the individuals that have access permission to any of
the content you create or store in your library. Your private information can only
be shared with another registered member if you have indicated that member should
have access to such information. You may also indicate whether non-registered members
may have access to the information. We collect credit card information from those
who pay for certain services offered on our Site and we maintain a record of each
transaction.
Public Information. Public information includes your username, any information
you choose to contribute to public areas of the Site or make available to others
via user permissions, and non-personally identifiable technical information. We
collect technical information when you encounter an error in the software, to allow
us to diagnose and fix the problem. This technical information does not include
any of your content, unless you explicitly send us content and ask us to use it
in diagnosing the problem.
Survey Information
From time-to-time we will request information from members via surveys. Participation
in these surveys is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether
or not to disclose this information.
IP Addresses and information about your computer
We collect and store certain technical and other information about the online activities
of our users — whether or not they are registered — on an aggregated (or collective)
basis. This includes your IP address, browser type, and operating system. Gotta
Mentor does not use this information to identify you or to match it with your testing
activities. We do, however, track the number of people who view each page, and other
Site usage data, in order to learn which features are the most popular and thereby
improve our service. We also record statistical information collected on our Site
to better understand our audience. This information is recorded as anonymous group
statistical information and is not connected to any personal information unless
you register as a Gotta Mentor member.

to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by
a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. We do not collect any

service, more consistent, updated results and a more personalized Site experience.

parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities
and interests. In addition to the requirement that only persons 18 years of age
or older use our Site or our services, we would like to stress that Gotta Mentor's
services and Site are not intended for and may not be used by children under the
age of 13. Gotta Mentor does not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable
information from children under the age of 13 and Gotta Mentor does not target its
services or this Site to children under 13. If a parent believes that his or her
child has provided us with personal information, he or she can contact us via e-mail
as listed below. We will promptly delete the information upon learning that it relates
to a child under the age of 13.
4. How the information collected is used:
Gotta Mentor uses public information you voluntarily give us to better understand
who you are and provide you with customized services. We may use your private information
to deliver certain services, products or information you have requested, verify
your authority to enter certain password protected areas of the Site, send you notices
for services that you have used or that may be of interest to you, and improve the
content and general administration of the Site. We may receive your personally identifiable
information from our partners that provide us with third-party services so that
we can customize and improve the services that we may provide to you.
Gotta Mentor may use aggregated, statistical information to describe our audience,
services, and to develop partnerships with third parties (i.e., anyone or any entity
who is not an employee, agent, or subsidiary of Gotta Mentor). For example, if 25%
of our members were interested in international careers, we would share that statistic
with companies providing international career opportunities in order to offer greater
visibility into that career path to our members. We may also disclose aggregate
information to our partner entities that provide career-related services to us to
improve the content and general administration of our Site. However, we will not
disclose our members' individual data and any partner entity to which we provide
such data may not further distribute it.
Gotta Mentor will use your email address and password to automatically save any
content you create to your record. In such instances, when your personal information
is directly connected to your statistical information, we do not disclose this information
to third parties except as provided in this Privacy Policy or with your permission.
By using the Site and submitting your on-line mentor matching application, you agree
to allow us to anonymously use the information from you and your experiences through
Gotta Mentor to continue our research into successful mentor/mentee relationships.
However, all of your responses and information will be kept anonymous, and no personal
information will ever be published.
Gotta Mentor will communicate with you through email and notices posted on this
Site or through any other means available through the service, including text and
other forms of messaging. If we send any communications to you via the carrier service
with which you have a mobile communications subscription or otherwise have access,
you understand you will pay any service fees associated with any such access (including
text messaging charges to messages your mobile device). Please be aware that you
will always receive certain emails from Gotta Mentor related to the proper functioning
of your account. You may also receive email notices when another user in your network
sends you a request or other communication, however, you may change your email options
and account settings at any time. Gotta Mentor may send you promotional information
unless you have opted out of receiving such information.
Gotta Mentor will not use or share your personal information in a manner that differs
from what is described in this Privacy Policy without your prior consent.
5. When your information may be disclosed:
Gotta Mentor takes the privacy of our users and members very seriously. We will
never disclose your personal information to any third party unless you have given
us your express permission. We will never rent or sell your personal information
to third parties for marketing purposes.
If you have elected to reveal your email address to other registered members, they
will have access to and be able to use your email address. Any individuals that
you connect to will have access to your full name and other personal information
as you permit.
We enable you to share your information and communicate with other registered members
and users (at your choice). You may designate certain individuals to have access
permission to certain content you create or store in your library and authorize
to be viewed by such individuals by clicking on one or more checkboxes. Your private
information can only be shared with another registered member if you have indicated
that such member should have access to such information. You may also indicate whether
non-registered members may have access to the information.
You may have the option to request, by, that we provide some of your information
to third parties, such as specific job search and hiring management partner entities.
We will only disclose those items you designate. The use of your personally identifiable
information by such third parties is subject to the terms and conditions and privacy

of recommended jobs and/or display your resume in a publicly searchable database.

users of Gotta Mentor are not allowed access to this information in any way. However,
by electing to participate in mentor matching you agree to share your public profile
information and communicate with other registered members who elect to participate
in mentor matching and who may meet the criteria set forth in your mentor matching
application, as determined by Gotta Mentor.
From time to time, we may disclose personal information when we believe such disclosure
is appropriate to comply with the law or a lawful request, to enforce or apply our
policies, to initiate, render, bill, or collect amounts owed to us, to protect our
rights or property, or to protect our users from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful
use of our Site or services, or if we reasonably believe that such disclosure is
legally required or necessary to protect others' rights or to prevent or mitigate
harm.
We reserve the right to use and disclose any non-personal information in any manner,
including information gleaned from cookies or other traffic data. We do not combine
personal information with any of the non-personal information gathered on this Site.

Gotta Mentor permits users and members to post comments and participate in blogs
